Infoxication

Infoxication, or more plainly, the intellectual intoxication, is produced by an excess of information. This excess is due to the availability of information in different formats. This availability produces occasionally some difficulties in assimilating such a volume in a reduced time.

The consequence is time becoming a very scarce resource and, therefore, getting the attention of the audience becomes a priority in Internet. Or in ordinary life.

A second related idea is this: the product between information and attention is a constant for each individual. In other words, as you become more teachie, it´s very likely your communication skills would go down.
